1933 – 2021
It is with great sorrow that the family wishes to announce that Matt Ehrmantraut, late of Estevan, SK passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Estevan on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
Matt was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Mary Ehrmantraut; infant sister Gertrude; brother George; granddaughter Carly Ehrmantraut and brothers-in-law Martin Bonokoski and Bert Dreher.
Matt will be forever missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Bette; children, Chris (Anita) their children Curtis, Cara (Brian) Murray and their children, Mylo and Cohen; Sharon (Barrie) Wock; Bruce (Michelle) and children Amanda and Logan; Brenda (Kevin) Wallewein and children Alyssa, Kelsey (Owen) Emde and their children, Dawson and Emryn, Lucas and Olivia; Lorna (Grant) Nelson; Laura (Pete) Heck and Tracey (Jason Michel) Wock and children Riley and Leah. Matt will be missed by sisters, Marie Bonokoski, Fran Dreher and Irene (Earl) Craig; brother Lawrence (Janet) Ehrmantraut and sister-in-law Rose Ehrmantraut as well as numerous extended family and friends.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, with Rev. Sathiadas Antony the celebrant. Interment will take place at the Estevan City Cemetery. Please join the family for refreshments following the interment at the Western Star Inn & Suites – 303 Kensington Ave., Estevan.
