Peter Selinger
1924 - 2020
Peter Anthony Selinger, late of Weyburn, Sask. and formerly of Lampman, Sask. passed away at Tatagwa View in Weyburn on Monday, April 6, 2020, at the age of 95.
Precious memories of Peter will be forever cherished by his wife of 65 years, Donna Selinger, and their daughters: Crystal Selinger of Weyburn; Cherise (David) Hein of Weyburn, and grandchildren: Jared (Sarah) Hein and their children, Hailey and Cameron; Kristen (Jordan) Calibaba and their children, Silas and Noa; Rae-Ann (Tony) Fieger of Bengough, and grandchildren: Courtney Fieger and Marissa (Dane) Eremenko. He is also survived by his sister Rose Wandler; brothers: Leo Sellinger and John (Cecille) Sellinger, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Peter was predeceased by his parents: Meinrod and Magdelena Selinger; his son Cameron Selinger (in infancy); his grandson Michael Fieger; his brothers: Phillip (Bernie) Sellinger, Harry (Stella) Sellinger and Anton Selinger; his sisters: Tina (Adam) Kuss, Margaret (Keith) Dyon and Eva (John) Haupt; his sister-in-law Mary Sellinger and his brother-in-law Walter Wandler.
Interment took place at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish Cemetery, Lampman, Sask. on Thursday, April 9, 2020 with family present. The Funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman.
