Raymond J. Macmillan (C.W.O. Ret'd) R.C.A.F.
1939 – 2021
Ray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Long Term Care, Estevan, SK at the age of 81 years.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Mary (nee O’Brien) Macmillan and son Stephen Macmillan.
Ray’s memory will forever be cherished by his wife Marion (nee Whitty) Macmillan; daughters, Colleen (Sean Garagan) of Estevan, SK and Cynthia (Roger Bell) of Dallas, Texas; son Timothy Macmillan of Ottawa, ON; daughter-in-law Shelly Macmillan of Sydney, N.S.; 12 grandchildren, Greg, Matt, Kyle, Wyatt, Melissa, Becky, Sean, Kelly, Jordan, Matthew, Nicole and Brandon; 8 great grandchildren, Levi, Jase, Tucker, Finn, Melody, Kaylee, Charlie and Austen. Ray will also be lovingly remembered by his sister, Judy (Alec) Boone and brother John Macmillan.
Due to ongoing pandemic concerns, a service will not be held at this time. A celebration of Ray's life is being planned for a later date, when it is once again safe for family and friends to gather to honour his life.
In memory of Ray, memorial donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation (designated to the Pediatric Cardiac Unit), 800 College Plaza, 8215 - 112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8.
