Raymond R. Semen
1959 – 2022

Raymond Semen, late of Bienfait, SK passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Long Term Care, Estevan, SK at the age of 62 years.

Raymond is survived by his siblings: sister Gladys (Murray) Matthewson (children, Jerry and Steven (daughter Rowan)), brother Larie (Karen) Semen (their children, Brett, Anna (Will) (their children, Seth and Bella) and Andrew),sister Dorothy Wharton ( her children, Ted and Rodney (his children, Taylor (daughter Amelia), Victoria (daughter Saphia) and Christina), sister - in- law Shirley Schatz (her children, Peggy Lukye (Dave), Glen Lukye, Tina (John) Gratto and their children Lorne, Taylor and Eric).

Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Cecile (nee Lukye) Semen; brother Jack Lukye and brother-in-law Edward Wharton.

The Graveside Service was held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Bienfait Cemetery with Bill Mann officiating.

Raymond had many hobbies and interests, but one was very near and dear to his heart. Raymond loved all animals so in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Estevan Humane Society whether it be a cash donation, food, litter or blankets in memory of Raymond.
