Guillemin, Rene Alexander Joseph
1930 – 2021

Rene passed away peacefully on Friday, December 24, 2021 in Regina, Saskatchewan surrounded by his loving daughters.

Rene is predeceased by his loving wife Irene Guillemin (2008); parents, Marcel and Josephine Guillemin; brothers, Armand, Gilbert and infant brother Gilbert and sister Irene Coderre.

Rene is survived by his daughters, Kathy (Larry) Babichuk, Deborah (Cliff) Smith and Darlene (Andy) Schendel; eight grandchildren, Cody, Justin, Taylor, Shawn (Renee), Christopher, Janelle, Miranda and Jaice; two great grandchildren, Julian and Presley.  Rene is also survived by his sister Laurette Wilkes and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of La Salette R.C. Church, Forget, SK on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Wilfred Calinawan presiding. Interment followed at Our Lady of La Salette Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Rene’s memory.
