I had the privilege of coaching baseball one year with Bob ( Bobcat ) when I was about 20 years old. I learned a lot from him as well. Always enjoyed talking baseball with him. Nice memory for me always. Our condolences to the family. He did so much for the Estevan sports community. Rest in peace Bob.

I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to the Burns family in their loss. I was fortunate to have a chat with Bob last spring when I was in town. Was always good catching up. I have many fond memories of him giving his time to help out with all the baseball and hockey events, when I was kid. He loved to offer astute coaching advice and throw out a laugh or two, as much as possible. I for one, will miss him. Rest in peace, Bob.
