Ronald Byng Raynard
1952 – 2020

Ron, late of Stoughton, SK passed away at home on Friday, January 3, 2020 with family by his side at the age of 67 years.

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Norval "Byng" and Catherine "Kay" (nee Didrick) Raynard.

Ron’s memory will forever be cherished by his loving partner Louise Hislop; his children and grandchildren, son Joey Nelson and family (Dante and Nya Nelson), daughter Rochelle Huriet (Terry Darveau) and family (Nikita and Zoe Nahbexie and Jaden Darveau) and daughter Ashley Huriet (Barry LaGrandeur) and family (Michael, Ritchie, Janelle and Shandelle LaGrandeur); brothers, Larry (Joanna), Keith (Michelle) and Allen (Jocelyn); nieces and nephews, Elijah (Stephanie), Trent (Katie), Julia (Shawn), Keeley (Jordan) and Lacey; great nieces and nephews, Brielle, Emery and Rylan as well as numerous cousins, extended family and many special friends.

The Celebration of Life for Ron was held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stoughton Central School Gymnasium (101 Government Road, Stoughton, SK) with Elizabeth Goodson officiating. The luncheon followed at the Royal Canadian Legion, Stoughton.

If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to The Stoughton-Tecumseh & District Fire Department, Box 598, Stoughton, Sask., S0G 4T0.

Yvonne Clark at Hall Funeral Services, Estevan assisted Ron's family.

Our condolences go out to Ron's family. Ron was cool, he seemed to always be nice to people. He was nice to me, even though I was from Creelman, (actually, I'm from Froude!). He wore that Lanny McDonald moustache very well! RIP, Ron.

Louise, Joey, Larry,Keith, Allan and families, Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Ron. So many fond memories we have of Ron with our time on the fire dept. and rec board, and of course all those Friday’s out at the shop. We were blessed to have had the honour of knowing him. He will be missed. R.I.P. Ron, till we meet again
