1926 – 2019
Rowena passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Hillview Manor, Estevan, SK at the age of 92 years.
Rowena is lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Doreen Pearson. She was an Aunt to many nieces and nephews, she cared deeply for them all. Rowena will also be deeply missed by all her extended family at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Rowena is predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Emma Pearson; husband Walter; 2 brothers, Douglas Pearson (1st wife Bertha and 2nd wife Myron) and Donald Pearson; 1 sister Winona “Babe” (Charles) McEvers; parents-in-law, Gus and Dorothy Rodenbush; brothers-in-law, Philip (Vera) Rodenbush, Henry (1st wife Laura and 2nd wife Gladys) Rodenbush, Rudolph “Slim” (Amelia) Rodenbush, Fred Rodenbush, Carl (Lou) Rodenbush, Ernest Rodenbush, William Rodenbush; sisters-in-law, Katie (John) Haus, Caroline “Lena” (Joseph), Freda Rodenbush, Margaret “Peggy” (George “Bill”) Willis, Elma (Thomas) Northeast, Irene (William) Storie and Anne (John) Twietmeyer.
The Memorial Service for Rowena took place on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan with Brother Piero Palumbo officiating. A luncheon took place immediately following the service at the Royal Canadian Legion, Estevan. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Columbarium at the Oxbow Cemetery, Oxbow, SK
