Shirley Hansen
1937 - 2022

Shirley May Hansen, formerly of Redvers, Sask. passed away at Sunset Haven in Carnduff, Sask. on October 8, 2022 at the age of 84.

Shirley will be forever loved and remembered by her husband of 62 years, Erik Hansen; son Robert (Valerie) Hansen; grandchildren and great grandchildren: Felicia (Joel) Jacobson and their son Owen, Melissa Yanyu and her sons: Emerson and Avery, Tyler (Josie) Hansen and their children: Hayden, Elodie and Marlowe, and Katelynne Hansen. She will also be dearly missed by her sisters: Kathleen Boychuk, Marjorie Mankish and Virginia Wandy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter Dianne Hansen; grandson-in-law Jason Yanyu; parents: Steve and Nellie Petruniak; sisters: Dora (Roland) Werner, Wilma Austin and Anne (Gerald) Bennett; brothers: George (Victoria) Petruniak, William Petruniak and James Petruniak; brothers-in-law: Ed Boychuk, Dan Mankish and Nick Wandy.

The Memorial Service was held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Dannevirke Lutheran Church, Redvers, with Rev. Jackie van't Voort presiding. Interment followed at Dannevirke Lutheran Cemetery, after which a time of fellowship and refreshments took place in the church hall.
