Obituary

Durr, Thomas William
1947 – 2019

Surrounded by the love of family, Thomas Durr late of Estevan, SK passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, SK on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the age of 72 years.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Georgean Durr.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Elaine and their children, Angela Durr and William (Jennifer) Durr; grandchildren Dawson Simon and Ainsley Lukye-Durr. Thomas will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Lovell (Judy) Durr, Lewis (Gail) Durr, James (Brenda) Durr, Louise (Ken) Kurtz and Rozann (Dale) Graefer as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church, Estevan, SK with Don Kindopp officiating. A time of lunch and fellowship followed in the church auditorium. A private family interment took place at the Bromhead Municipal Cemetery, Bromhead, SK.

Those so wishing may make donations in memory of Thomas to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation (designate Unit A), 1176 Nicholson Rd., Estevan, SK S4A 0H3.

With Sincerest Regrets to hear the passing of Cousin Thomas.
Elaine, Angela and William know that our family grieves with yours this very solemn day. I will miss his warm heart and many stories shared on our Western visits.

My condolences to Elaine and her family. Condolences also to all the Durr family members. My fondest memories was flying into McAdam Lake with Thomas where we placed a plaque for our Uncle Bill. The fishing was pretty good too!
