Graham, Thomas Edward
1929 – 2019

Thomas passed away peacefully on his own terms Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Regina General Hospital

Thomas was born in Portal, North Dakota, USA, was raised in Hirsch, SK and spent his life in his beloved Estevan, SK until his passing. Thomas worked in various roles for the City until his retirement in 1992. He never missed an opportunity to switch from friend and father to teacher and mentor whether it was coaching hockey, fishing or just tending to his well-kept lawn and garden.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents and siblings; and his loving wife Loraine, whom he was devoted to until he closed his eyes for the last time.

Thomas will be missed by his sons, Terry (Verna) and granddaughter Anastasia, and Dean (Wanda) and grandchildren Desirae and Bryn; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Our deep appreciation goes to the staff at Creighton Lodge, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Regina General Hospital and Sobey’s in Estevan, SK.

As per Dad’s final wishes, a private gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Thomas may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (

Just going thru Estevan Obits and found Tommy's in there. I had Tommy as my boss at the City way back in the summers of 1968 and 1969. Every year I went back to visit my mom we would see him in the Homesteader café in the mall. Then Aunt Dolly, Aunt Emily and mom would have to go get a hug from him. I would ask how the fish were biting at Rafferty, and he would tease me with all the pickerel he caught. He was a prince of a man. Respected by all. Late Condolences to the family. Doug Gent

Condolences to the family. We had the pleasure of doing business with him at the City years ago. He was a very kind man with a great sense of humour.

So sorry to hear of Tommy’s passing. Les worked for Tommy in the Parks Dept. with City of Estevan and Sheilagh shared many coffee breaks at City Hall with him. He knew more jokes right off the cuff than anyone we ever knew before or since! Always happy and a good friend to us both.
