SANDQUIST, Vernon

It is with broken hearts that we, the family, share the passing of Vernon Sandquist on August 21, 2022, in Kelowna, BC.

Vernon was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Estina Sandquist; his son Rodney; and his mother and father-in-law, Gertie’s parents, Joseph and Florence Hoffort.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and true friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and his wonderful smile.

Special thanks to our family doctor, Dr. Ben Prozesky, for his care and compassion given to Vern and his family.

While it hurts to lose someone so special, we take comfort knowing we have gained a special angel to watch over us.  You may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our heart.

A reception to Celebrate Vernon’s Life will be held at the Beefeater Plaza on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospital Foundation,  1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, SK. S4A 0H3.
