We did a stint together in Iraq and Ron was a shot in the arm when it came to remaining sane. Down to earth but brimmed with confidence and believed in living life as it was dealt but with a few aces up his sleeve.
His passing was a shock and the older our contingent get, the more the realisation of life's mortality.
Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss.
