Miss You Forever Uncle Peter!

I have visited this site several times - wanted to send a message but didn't know where to start or really how to put into words my feelings of loss and gain.

Uncle Peter was a quiet spoken man that didn't have to say a lot - his actions spoke louder than any words!  He was a dedicated man to his strong faith beliefs, his family values and his work ethic.   In my humble opinion, no man that lived a life like he did deserved to suffer so much in his last days. It makes the saying " Life often isn't fair" as real as the air we breathe!!

My fond memories are many but the ones of us all kneeling at night and praying the rosary are the strongest!   There was no compromise and I hear his voice - GIRLS!!  as Janice and I would be giggling - I take the blame - it was never Janice - always me that would tickle Janice's leg - or pinch or something to get us into trouble.  Uncle Peter never was unkind - he just had a way of sayng GIRLS and usually separated us!!   Oh man, that rosary seemed to last forever!    He was unwavering in his faith and his dedication to his Lord, Aunt Kay and his family!!   The BEST of the best!   I was so blessed to spend the time I did with Aunt Kay, Uncle Peter and my cousins.   Their family bond was enviable.

I was telling Richard that Uncle Peter was a very successful farmer and he did that and still kept Sundays a church day and family day - he kept an incredble balance in his life!  Very few live such a balanced life.  Oh and I might add - I do not ever remember a cuss word coming out of his mouth!   How is that even possible???

If there is in fact a place called Heaven, Uncle Peter is definitely a gate keeper!   He is still sowing seeds but no longer on this earth.   His seeds here are still producing through his family and their families.   Those seeds will be producing bountifully for many generations.   The seeds he is now sowing are those of the heart and the soul in places we cannot touch or see but stronger than ever!

Rest in peace beautiful soul!   You lived a great and admirable life!!

I love you and feel so sad that I will never get to visit with you until we meet again!!

Your niece,

Lynda
