Obituary for Allen Rudolph Barreth

Allen Barreth
1929 - 2015

Allen Rudolph Barreth, late of Macoun, SK passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, SK on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the age of 86 years.

Allen is survived by his wife Audrey Barreth; son Brent (Mary Ellen) Barreth; daughter Sandra Barreth; grandchildren, Joe Wright and Nicole Wright; sisters, Irene Diemart and Beulah (Garry) Sawyer; brother Glen (Laura) Barreth; in-laws, Wayne (Verna) Messer, Delbert (Anita) Messer, Wilfred Messer and Ron Zentner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Magdalene Barreth; brother-in-law Ralph Diemart and sisters-in-law, Veronica Zentner, Dianna (Henry) Issler, Dorothy Messer and Joan Messer.

Prayers will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Thuy Nguyen. Interment will take place at the Macoun Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the Macoun School Gymnasium.

If friends so desire, donations in Allen's memory may be made directly to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation, 1176 Nicholson Road, Estevan, SK, S4A 0H3.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
