JOHN "JACK" EVANS
1951 - 2016
John (Grumpy/Jack) Evans, 64 years, passed away suddenly at Redvers Health Centre, Redvers, SK on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
He was born April 18, 1951 to Elgin (Rab) Evans and Myrtle (Lamb) Campbell in Guelph, Ontario. On January 11, 1986 he married Roni Dallow in Guelph, ON. John enjoyed trains, golfing and sitting on the deck with Roni watching wildlife.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Roni; daughter Keri Campbell, North Bay, ON; 3 sons, Jack Campbell (Angela), North Bay, ON, Dan Campbell (Kari), North Bay, ON and Chad Evans (Holly), Frobisher, SK; 9 grandchildren, Jazmin, Austin, Ethan, Grayson, Payton, Connor, Molly, Carter, Brielle; 3 sisters, Janice DeMarco, Guelph, ON, Judy Marshall of Waterloo, ON and Joanna Evans of Cambridge, ON as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Elgin and Myrtle Evans; grandparents, Jack and Viola Evans and Edward and Lilian Lamb; Roni’s parents, Ron and Bonita Dallow; cousin and best friend Chuck Lamb.
It was John's wish that there be no service.
In memory of John memorial donations can be made to the Sick Kids Foundation, 525 University Avenue, 14th Floor, Toronto, ON, M5G 2L3 or Make a Wish Foundation, 4211 Yonge Street, Suite 520, Toronto, ON, M2P 2A9.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Redvers.
