1951 - 2016
Eric Hanrieder passed away suddenly in Lampman, SK on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the age of 64 years.
Eric's memory will be forever cherished by his wife Debbie Hanrieder of Lampman; children, Kristin Hanrieder of Calgary, AB and Jordan Hanrieder (Nicole Babiuk) of Regina, SK; mother Helen Keen; brother Hal (Isla) Hanrieder and their children, Paul, Meleny and Robert (Robynne); sister Hedy (Charles) Breckenridge and their children, Naomi (David) Dudek, Michelle and Michael (Raina); sisters-in-law, Carol Hanrieder and her children, Holly Spooner (Ben) and Lee (Melissa) and Sandy Hanrieder (Robert Duncan) and her children, Ryan, Lisa and Reagen; step sisters, Lorraine Whitley (Wayne), Darlene Holst and Marilyn Hart (J.D.); brother-in-law Brian (Natasha) Murdoch and their children, Laura and Thomas.
He was predeceased by his father Otto Hanrieder Sr.; step father Tony Keen; brothers, Otto Hanrieder Jr. and Mark Hanrieder; parents-in-law, Gordon and Margaret Murdoch; brothers-in-law, Willie Holst and Doug Murdoch.
A prayer service was held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and the funeral mass was celebrated on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gerry Bauche presiding. Both services were held at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman. A luncheon was held in the church auditorium immediately following the funeral mass. Following cremation, interment took place at the parish cemetery.
Those wishing to make donations in Eric's memory may do so directly to Lampman Fire & Rescue (cheques payable to Town of Lampman), Box 70, Lampman, SK S0C 1N0 or a charity of choice.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
