Condolence From: Michael Gustafson
Condolence: To the family...I wanted to pass on condolences to Dorothy from the Gustafson and Keller families as the Edward Keller farm was just across the border from the Kellington place. A couple of years ago, I had the privilege to visit with Dorothy about her knowledge relating to her employment at the Grand View Hotel in North Portal. As I enjoyed researching the history of this border crossing, I am reminded of the CBC documentary of Al Capone in January of this year...so it is my hope that the material and pictures that Dorothy has can be shared with the community of North Portal Library. As Bill Keller passed away in early June of 2012...Dorothy can now visit with Bill about riding horses between farms.
