Obituary for Robert David "Bob" King

Robert King
1929 - 2016

Bob passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, SK at the age of 86 years.

Bob was born in Oxbow, SK on December 14, 1929 to Frank and Beatrice King.

Bob leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Marie, along with her children, Barb (Brian) Winnipeg, her children, Scott (Darla), Geoffrey; Jan (David) Winnipeg, her son Grant (Teena); Alan (Sharon) Ottawa, ON, his sons John, David; Norman (Christine) Calgary, AB, his children, Bryan, Leanne; along with numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by step daughter Cindy (Stephen) Frobisher, their children, Kaitlyn (Dallas) and Madisynn, Kayne, Krystofer, Kylar; step son Kim McDonald Colarado. Brother Albert (Faye) Frobisher and his family, Wayne (Christy), Maureen; nieces, Debbie and Diane and nephew Doug; sister in law Lois King, Frobisher and her family, Murray, Brenda (Mederick), Donna (Doug), and Sandra (Dwayne); brother in law Lorne Hannah and his daughter Myrna (Don); along with numerous nephews, nieces, and a pair of "Awesome Neighbors", Linda and Delores, who were always there with willing hands or goodies.

Bob was predeceased by his first wife Helen; parents, Frank and Beatrice; sisters, Gladys Hannah and Muriel (Walter) Smith: brother Gordon; uncles, Ed (Edna) King and Bill (Alvina, Doris) King, and nephew in law Brad Taylor.

The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Frobisher Union Church, Frobisher, SK with Don Britt officiating. Interment took place at Oxbow Cemetery with lunch following at Frobisher Union Church.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Bob.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
