Obituary for Kim Elizabeth Robitaille (Lownds)

Kim Elizabeth Robitaille (nee Lownds)
1950 - 2016

Kim peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Moose Mountain Lodge, Carlyle, SK at the age of 66 years.

Kim is survived by her 2 brothers, Gordon Lownds and Taylor Lownds and two nieces, Jody and Elizabeth. Kim was predeceased by her parents, Martin and Phyllis Lownds.

Kim graduated from Lawrence Park Collegiate in Toronto and she was voted best cheerleader in Toronto in her senior year. She graduated from Ryerson University where she studied Business Administration. Kim was an entrepreneur and had run two antique furniture restoration businesses in Ontario before moving to Saskatchewan. Kim established her own business doing book keeping for many businesses. She took great pride in doing an excellent job. She was a superb business person, going above and beyond, for her clients.

Kim loved dogs. Her hobbies were gardening, gourmet cooking, classical music, and was a trained symphony musician (piano). She had a brilliant mind and was a very compassionate friend. She will be deeply missed by her friends, clients, and family.

To celebrate Kim's life, there was an informal gathering of friends for a Memorial Tea at the Kisbey Recreation Centre - 285 Morley Street in Kisbey, SK at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

In memory of Kim memorial donations may be made to the Moose Mountain R n R Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc., Box 516, Carlyle, SK, S0C 0R0.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Redvers.
