Gloria Larsen was more than just my one and only Aunt growing up, she was like a Mother to me and I adored her. I am so fortunate I spent every summer with her, I owe many of the skills I possess today to her, she always made sure I was happy, active, loved and we had so much fun together. My first helicopter ride was with her, our trip to Mount Rushmore, Vancouver and lots of amazing camping together. I have a strange love of instant mashed potatoes as well as bacon and tomato sandwiches because of this woman! LOL She made them taste like real mashed potatoes & her homemade soup was simply divine. I've been overflowing with memories we have together and I have had some great chuckles. The last time I stayed at her home with my family, I made sure she knew exactly what she meant to me, how much I loved her and thanked her for the best childhood EVER! She and I had a bond that I didn't have with anyone else & I will treasure that my entire life. Amazing lady, caring and generous woman & loving Aunt that a little girl could only wish for. I love you Aunty Gloria to the moon and back :)

Sorry to hear of Gloria's passing, she will be truly be missed but ever remembered for all that she did and stood for. I'll always remember her smiling face as she greeted you. Our sincere sympathy to the family.
