Life Story for Arthur Carl Wrubleski

My Dad was the rock of our family. he was the center of our world and the root of our strength. Whenever I told people my name was Wrubleski....they knew....you must be Art's daughter. He was loved by everyone who was honored enough to have met or known him especially us and me the "spoiled one" as my siblings often referred to me.

When my Mom died I wondered how my life could be without her. My Dad gave me that strength. He was there to support me in my good and bad choices. I never worried knowing he was always by my side.
A very wonderful man...my father in law who we lost in October .... told my husband before he even met my Dad said..."He must be an amazing man" for keeping the family so close after losing his wife. He did just that. We as a family celebrated every Easter...Fathers Day...Christmas....Birthdays and special occasions as a whole and Dad was always at the center.

I became my Dad's plus one being the youngest. From going on a cruise with good friends the Sheane's Ehrmantrauts and Spearings to Hawaii trips where my Dad once said....If you want to quit University (maybe because I was failing) that I could stay an extra week with him...who couldn't turn that offer down. And going to Mexico and as he always said ....bring whomever you want. So Verdynne Gilchrist and Cathie Haines joined us. He always made sure there was paralyzer and ceasar supplies.

Dad was very involved in mine and Brayden's lives. He met anyone we knew from the Driver Instructor who failed me....Dad went down there and gave him a piece of his mind....to our friends.... and my many co workers i had over the years. Everyone knew him!!!

In recent years Brenda Dad and I started our weekly tradition of going out for Thursday lunches. Garry and Brayden would join us when they could and Verdynne and Wade recently started in on it. Whoever 's turn it was got to pick. Dad always picked the Tower for their borscht Humpty's for their Stirfry and Eddies for the steak special (my dogs loved that because he would always make sure to cut up his leftover steak in equal portions for them. He would joke sometimes too when it was his turn and say KFC cause it was cheaper and he loved the drumsticks. He always got us to ask for the biggest drumsticks. And most times after lunch people would see us at the Dairy Queen drive thru. Dad loved his soft cones and of course I couldn't resist.
Dad was so proud of us his children and grandchildren and held a extra special place in his heart for Brayden. They were best friends. From the moment he was born...to all the many days he grandsat...to a place for Brayden to run when Mom was being too strict. Dad would call Brenda and ask what My problem was. I always received compliments from people who would see the two of them out for their many suppers and how good they were together. They were inseparable.

My Dad was strict when he needed to be and spoiled each and everyone of us. We are who we are because of him. As Kendra Memory said....he worked hard for us kids.....his legacy. And we promise Dad to never let that end.

Lastly I want to say that I have never been more proud of the relationship my Son and Dad had. I always receive compliments of how respective and nice my Son is. I just smile and thank God for my Dad.
Love you Dad
