To Clint White/family/friends and the community of Estevan - thank you for your help and thoughtfulness while we were in Estevan. Everyone we met was so kind and gracious. We really felt the love you had for our beautiful daughter Alexis.
To Alexis's family: Our heartfelt sympathy to the family on the passing of Alexis. We knew her when she worked at the Beefeater, we'd go in there on Thurs. for Steak Night, she was our waitress, when she'd see us coming in, she'd go place our order for us, she always knew what we liked, she was one of the best, always friendly, had a wonderful smile, was funny, we sure missed her when she left the Beefeater, Thurs. just weren't the same. We were so sorry to hear of her passing.
I remember her as fire, the kind that could knock you flat with a single glance. She carried a self possession women everywhere could learn from. And she was gentle and kind, like water. I remember remarking in my last interaction with her how kind and polite she was. She wrote,
"Hi Lindsay
i just read your note. its nice to hear from you. im intrigued as to what your friends business is all about. i hope you are doing well. it looks like you're having an amazing time. i hope we cross paths soon.
please feel free to put me in contact with your friend.
warm thoughts
Alexis
I was struck by her gentleness. It made me think about the qualities she shared with her mom.
Vicki, Norm, Michael, Clint, family, all Alexis' besties, I know this hurts unimaginably. I am with you all in spirit as you navigate the days and weeks and years to come without Alexis by your side. It is so sad what can happen in a single moment. I know there was no note, but if she had planned this, I think it would have said, "I love you all so very deeply."
Holding you all in my heart,
Lindsay
Alexis it was a pleasure to work with you,I always looked forward to when you would be on shift for I so loved our coffee breaks and all the laughter we shared. Your smile and Kindness will be forever missed my friend!
