George Rempel
1948 - 2017
George passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Estevan, SK, after a long courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the age of 68 years, with his daughters by his side.
George's memory will be forever cherished by his daughter Shauntelle Hanson (Bob) with grandchildren, Carter (Kayd) and Owen; daughter Lanette Brown (Erin), with grandchildren, Shanisse and Sean (Tory) and great grandchildren Noah and Colt; daughter Heather Rempel (Trevor). He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Evelyn Semmler (Gary), Gladys Streick, Violet Johnson (Ervie), Larry Rempel (Caron) and Allan Rempel (Sandra), and many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention.
He was predeceased by his wife Cheryl Rempel; parents, Abe and Marie Rempel of Portage La Prairie, MB and two brothers-in-law, Erwin Streick and Patrick Johnston.
The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beefeater Plaza, 1305 - 9th Street, Estevan, with Pastor Mike Hoffort of Living Hope Community Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward funeral expenses, c/o Hall Funeral Services, 1506 – 4th Street, Estevan, SK, S4A 0X6.
Arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
