Obituary for Shirley Margaret Campbell (Baker)

Shirley Margaret Campbell (Baker)
CAMPBELL, SHIRLEY MARGARET
JULY 13, 1957 – MAY 14, 2017

On Sunday, May 14, 2017, Shirley Margaret Campbell passed away peacefully at the Redvers Health Centre, Redvers, SK at the age of 59.

Shirley was born in Maryfield, SK to Jack & Elva Baker. She was raised in Fairlight, SK and lived in her childhood home until her passing.

Shirley married George, the love of her life, on April 3, 1976. They built a life together, raising three children and becoming grandparents to seven. Becoming Bubby to those seven grandchildren was one of Shirley’s many loves.

She also loved her home in Fairlight, being part of the community, and the enduring friendships she made there. She loved curling, the Toronto Blue Jays, and country music. She was passionate about baking and loved to share it with others. And above all, she loved George with all her heart.

Shirley will be greatly missed by her husband George; children Brandi (Tyler), Vanessa (Corey) & Brennan (Kayla); grandchildren Zoey, Isaiah, Malcolm, Logan, Olivia, Lily & Jaxon; siblings Linda, Jean (Joe), Jack (Val), along with many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, brother Kenneth, and son-in-law Ian.

A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairlight Community Hall, with Roy Bortolotto officiating. A luncheon followed the service, and interment will take place at the Fairlight Cemetery at a later date.

If so desired, memorial donations can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Saskatchewan Branch, 1 - 2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 6A8.

Arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Redvers.
