Robert, Wendy, & Christopher Bespflug, Regina, SK.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Bob Frijouf. My late father, John J. Bespflug (a farmer too), was a school and lifelong friend of Bob's. We lived a few miles east of Bob & Sybil's farm (south of Macoun, SK) and we visited throughout the year. Both when most of the farm neighbours lived out on the farms and later when many moved into Estevan, my mom (Bernice) and dad would get together with various neighbours on everyone's birthdays to celebrate. Here's an interesting story. During one farm visit to Bob & Sybil's farm many years ago, Sybil made my dad and I lunch. She put Hellman's mayonnaise in the sandwiches - I had only tasted Miracle Whip mayonnaise before, but I took an instant liking to Hellman's and use it to this day. Thus Bob and Sybil introduced me to a new experience in my life. Bob was a gentle giant of a man. He will be sadly missed.

It was so very sad to hear about our dear Uncle Bob passing away. He was the last of that generation of the Frijouf family and will be missed so very much. After moving to Calgary the visits have been less frequent but I have so many memories of days spent out at the farm as a child and will never forget them. Every Christmas, birthday and most other holidays were spent with Uncle Bob, Aunt Sybil and of course all of the other aunts uncles and grandparents. We were so lucky to have such a great family. I am happy for Uncle Bob now that he has rejoined Aunt Sybil in heaven and they can be together again as I know he missed her so much. God Bless you Uncle Bob. We all love you and will miss you.

Bob was one of the sweetest men we've had the pleasure of having in our home. Bob was always so grateful for everything you did for him, no matter how small. Although he always had a smile for you when you entered his room, we knew how unhappy he has been since losing his Sybil. He has been waiting a long time to be reunited with her and now he is. His smile is bigger then ever now. Bless this sweet man.
