Smyth Christmas

Each Christmas, the Hawkes clan from Estevan would visit the Smyth family in Bienfait to celebrate the season. My father loved Vera's minced meat tarts! Later, when we had children, Craig and Andrea, the Smyth boys would take the kids for snowmobile rides - the highlight of the season for them. Although it has been 30 years since we moved away from Saskatchewan, this is still a fond memory for us, as is the generosity of Brian and his brothers.
