Obituary for Germaine Jeanne Beriault (Salut)
Germaine Jeanne Beriault
February 10, 1920 – September 11, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family says farewell to Germaine Beriault, late of Redvers, SK who passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Redvers Health Centre, Long Term Care at the age of 98 years.
Germaine was predeceased by her parents Joannie and Rosalie Salut; her loving husband Lucien and their daughter Elise; as well as four brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish many fond memories are her children, Rosealine Beriault (Louis Schmidt), Jeanne Chabot (Cecil), Irène (Joseph) Poirier, Suzanne (Dwight) Steffensen and Antoine (Sonia) Beriault; 24 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. Germaine is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, Mary and Erma Beriault.
The Prayer Service was held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. and the Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Both services were held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Redvers, with Rev. Wilfred Calinawan presiding. A luncheon took place in the parish hall immediately following the Funeral Mass. Interment took place at St. Raphael Parish Cemetery, Cantal, SK.
