Andy was born on September 6, 1947 on the family farm in Storthoaks, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on September 10, 2010 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan at the age of 63. He is predeceased by his parents, Aime and Yvonne Carriere. He is survived by his five children: Michelle (Chris) Hamel and their children Colby, Jasmine and Tye of Reston, Monique Carriere of Brandon, Melissa (Brad) Cosgrove and their children Avery, Bradin and Kadie of Regina, David Carriere of Storthoaks, and Brian (Devan) Carriere and their children Kaiden and Adisyn of Storthoaks. He is also survived by his sisters Claire Madsen, Denise (Arthur) Paulsen, Leona (Bill) Curle and Aline Rioux, as well as aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church in Storthoaks by Rev. Clement Nwankwo. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Parish Cemetery, Storthoaks.For those so wishing, donations may be made to the St. Anthony’s R.C.
