James Patrick McGauvran
1934 – 2019

Surrounded by the love of his family, James McGauvran passed from this world at the Lampman Community Health Centre on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the age of 85 years.

James was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Hyacinth; his loving wife Blossom; and sisters, Frances Leclair, Patricia Fleck and Peggy Keating.

James will be greatly missed by his daughters, Debbie (Wayne) Schell and their children Connie (Dale), Lisa (Michael) and Wade (Tanissa); Robin (Lawrence) Geisel and their children Jamie (Renee), Shaun (Megan), Kristin, Jason (Angelise) and Janelle; Jacqui (Martin) Lischka and their children Stacy (Chris), Trisha and Steven (Holly); Janice (Raymond) Van De Woestyne and their children Stefanie (Dean), Samantha (Paul) and Andrew (Tagan); and Darcy (Dallas) Fleck and their children Jessica (Kody) and Kyle (Janae). James will also be missed by his 28 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman, SK on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Nestor Gregoire OMI. Interment followed at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish Cemetery, after a time of lunch and fellowship was held in the church basement.

Those so wishing may make donations in memory of James to the Lampman Community Health Centre Trust, PO Box 100, Lampman, SK S0C 1N0.
