John Thomas Wilton
1959 – 2019

With heavy hearts the family wishes to announce the passing of John Wilton, late of Stoughton, SK on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Weyburn General Hospital at the age of 60 years.

John was predeceased by the love of his life Holly Wilton; sister Sonja (Kootch) Barr and his parents Max and Helen Wilton.

John will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Jessica (Chris) Maas; sons, Max and Kyle Wilton and beloved granddaughter, his “little squirt” Bria Maas. John will be greatly missed by his sister Diane Wilton and nephews, Sam and Adam Saad; brother-in-law Ken Barr and nephews, Ash Barr and family and Chris Barr and family; John’s “little pig” dog Roxy; and numerous other relatives, coworkers and countless friends.

A Celebration of John’s life was held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Stoughton branch with Rev. Allan Gairns presiding. A private family interment took place at the Stoughton Town Cemetery immediately following the service, after which a time of lunch and fellowship was held at the Legion. In honour of John’s passion for “old cars” and “motor bikes” it was requested that folks attending bring theirs along.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made online by visiting and clicking on “Cameco Touchdown for Dreams”, or by mail, to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, 200 - 4545 Parliament Ave., Regina, SK, S4W 0G3 (cheque payable to Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, with "Touchdown For Dreams" on the memo line).
