Joseph Raymond "Ray" Smith, late of Estevan, SK passed away in Estevan on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the age of 85 years.

Survived by his wife, Jean Smith , Estevan. Children, Geraldine (Neil) Armstrong, Vermilion, AB., John (Jane) Smith, Red Deer, AB. Eight grandchildren, James (Liz), Medicine, Hat, AB., Tyson (Suzanne), Blackfalds, AB., Loresa, Medicine, Hat, AB., Kevin, Medicine Hat, AB., Nicholas, Vermilion, AB., Will, Edmonton, AB., Selina, Red Deer, AB. and Angeline, Regina, SK. Nine great grandchildren, Joy, Kassie, Autumn, Kayden, Riley, Justin, Ocean, Thye and Des. His siblings, Bob (Shirley) Cook, Sandy Hook, MB., Jim (Dorothy) Cook, Yukon, Joan (Ray) Higgins, Edmonton, AB., Dick (Margaret) Cook, Maple Ridge, B.C.

Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Ruth Smith, four sisters, Anne, Hazel, Eleanor and Connie.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Christ, Estevan, with Tim Pippus officiating. Interment will follow in the Estevan City Cemetery.
