My sincere condolences to the families of Roger. By reading through the condolences, and the interview with Global news, I can see he will be missed. I got to know Roger during his youth at the Huber family farm in Dysart. He was my Dad's (Adam Huber) cousin. Our family would often visit them when we were visiting our grandparents and other relatives in Lipton, Dysart and Cupar. Many fond memories of those happy times. Of course, like so many families, kids grow up, move away, and lose touch with other family members, which is what happened to us and Roger. But we would see each other at anniversaries, funerals, family reunions, etc. So glad that he had a good life in Estevan with his family and friends. It was only last year that my older brother Jim and I took a trip out to Kronsberg and the "old" farm. Roger was a dedicated hard worker and certainly will be missed. My thoughts are with you.

I’m so sorry to hear of Rogers passing. I first meet Roger back in the 1980s while covering the Southern Saskatchewan area through my sales job. As most sales personal will surely tell you he was an interesting character to get to know and do business with. It took a while but Roger became a joy to call on, to do business with and relax with a beer or two after work. My condolences to his family.

Just want to send my condolences to the family. I lived down the street from the family on Edward Street and babysat all three kids for several years. I know your Dad worked very hard to establish his business in the oil industry and will be missed by many. Sending my thoughts and prayers to you! Take care! Marlys Phillips (Lalonde)
