I never met Penny face to face but I am indebted to her for life. She gave me my first break as a novelist. I was unsure of my abilities as a writer and stuck in the middle of nowhere yet she encouraged me tremendously and asked for nothing in return. I still can't believe she is gone. She was a gem and I want her family to know that she made a huge difference in so many people's lives. I am just one of them. I miss you Penny. May you rest in peace and may God reward you and your family for the good you have done, amen.
Although We never met In Person Penny Was a Very Dear Friend. We met on line about 17 to 18 years ago. I always felt close to Penny Like she was a sister. I loved her as a Very Dear Friend and will miss her Greatly. My biggest regret is not being able to meet her in Person. It is going to take a very long time for me to realize that she is no longer there. Prayers are wished for her Family .... Can only hope she is Resting in Peace surrounded by all the Rescues she helped over all these Years...
Penny was my publisher, but more than that; a friend. She recommended a remedy for our elderly dog who was having vestibular issues. It worked and we've had no more problems. I will always be grateful to Penny for that, and for being my first publisher! Enjoy all those doggies up in Heaven, Penny!
You will be greatly missed. Thanks for the wonderful memories! We shared laughter, sadness and hope for a better tomorrow. Rest easy my gentle loving friend. The world is a better place because of everyone you blessed with your joy of life!
I loved Penny dearly and still do and will even though her soul now journeys on the other side. I know she was surrounded by furry love when she arrived at Rainbow Bridge. Penny was an amazing, remarkable woman, whose friendship I treasured. My heart goes out to Rick, Penny's mother and siblings, her other friends (especially Denysé), and her fur babies, who are surely wondering why she has disappeared from their lives. Journey on, Penny. I'll catch up with you some day when I, too, pass on to the next life. I am glad you aren't suffering any longer. With much love - Cyn
Sending our sincere condolences. Penny was truly a special person. So caring, giving and thoughtful. Someone who helped and thought of others all the time. She will be missed.
