Aunt Marjorie lit up a room with her quick wit, smile and laughter. When I think of her I can't separate her from the vibrant community she helped hold together at South Arcola and of course softball. I have so many good memories of her.

I knew Marjorie from the time of my childhood. We use to love going to her father's farm to play. They were all so kind and friendly and fun.In later years whenever I visited her and my aunt Margaret she was so welcoming and loved to show her hand made quilts . They were beautiful and so perfectly done.I watched her decorate cakes and what a splendid job she did.Marjorie decorated my wedding cake and it was perfect. She learned that skill when she was" down east".I will forever remember her welcoming smile and the pleasure on her face to have us come visit when she lived in Arcola. She lived a long life overcoming her health problems and smiling through them.

I looked after Marjorie for over a year. In that time she brought so much meaning into my life. She helped me with advise of my daughters wedding among other events in my life. I used to lay with her and we would look at pictures in my iPad if my weekends away with my horses or my hiking trips. I always looked forward to the questions and googles we shared. She taught me about cake decorating and helped me with crafts. We made reads for her door and courage’s. I came to love her dearly in such a short time, but who wouldn’t. I wished I could of spent more time with her but circumstances stopped ya from sharing our lives this last 6 months. Know she is lives very very much. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
